Tracy graduated from the Ringling School of Art and Design in Sarasota, Florida with a BFA in 1986. During the spring of 1988, she made her first visit to Maui, leaving the crowds and heat of South Florida for a 3 month windsurfing vacation. Within a few days of her “vacation”, she knew Maui would be her new home. Living on the north shore, she explores the rugged landscapes and waters with her paintbrush, paddleboard and mountain bike.

Tracy currently paints with acrylics on canvas or wood panels with the occasional watercolor which she used to specialize in. She also works in many forms of original printmaking including handpulled color lithographs, aquatint etching and monoprinting.
